All Aboard for the Smoky Mountain Polar Express!
On our travels to Tennessee, we were lucky enough to visit Bryson City and catch the Polar Express on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Bryson city is picturesque town that was all decked out for Christmas, covered in twinkle lights and Christmas music heard the moment you stepped in town. On our hour and 20 minutes trip we were treated to delicious hot chocolate and sugar cookies. The trip of course included story telling of The Polar Express, singing, a little dancing and it wouldn't be complete without a visit from the guy himself. Santa makes an appearance in each train car to hand out a special gift. If you can't make it for train ride during the Christmas season, be sure to check the train schedule because there are many other events and rides you would love!
